Melanie
Melanie Anne Safka-Schekeryk (born February 3, 1947) is an American singer-songwriter known professionally as Melanie and sometimes as Melanie Safka. She remains best known for the 1971/72 global hit "Brand New Key", her cover of "Ruby Tuesday", her composition "What Have They Done to My Song Ma", and her 1970 international breakthrough hit "Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)", inspired by her experience of performing at the 1969 Woodstock music festival.
Abraxas - Santana and Sly and the Family Stone Tribute - (Set time: 3:35 PM)
Abraxas - Santana and Sly and the Family Stone Tribute
Fronted by Mexican-born Javier Vazquez on guitar and vocals, Abraxas has been acclaimed as one of the most authentic, powerful, and accurate tributes to the music of Santana in North America. Javier has been named “The Canadian Carlos Santana” by the Toronto Sun.

This show spans Santana’s musical career; from the early albums (Santana, Abraxas, and Santana III), covering all the hits from the Woodstock era (Soul Sacrifice, Jin-go-lo-ba, Evil Ways, Samba Pa Ti, Black Magic Woman), and featuring the more recent (Europa, Smooth, and Maria Maria).

Abraxas delivers a spectacular performance; honouring the greatness of Carlos Santana and getting everyone onto the dance floor with its driven Latin grooves!
The Who Show - (Set time: 5:30 PM)
The Who Show
From “My Generation” to “Pinball Wizard” to “Behind Blue Eyes” to “You Better You Bet” to “Won’t Get Fooled Again”, The Who Show has been thrilling audiences with the unmistakable live sounds of the Who for more than a decade. Voted VH1’s “Most Believable 1970’s Era Who Tribute”, The Who Show was also hailed by the Los Angeles Times to be “in a class by themselves.”

With note for note musical renditions, authentic costumes and vintage instruments The Who Show recreates a Who concert experience from the 1970s. On stage, the group accurately captures the “individual stage personas, idiosyncrasies and showmanship” (Music Connection Magazine) of one of the most influential bands and perhaps the greatest live band ever. While many tribute bands duplicate the appearance and sound, The Who Show, “takes the extra step to capture the magic, energy and essence of the Who” (San Diego Union-Tribune).
Piece of my Heart - Janis Joplin Tribute - (Set time: 4:10 PM)

Krista’s ability to emulate Janis has also led to awards and nominations in both Florida and Las Vegas honouring the industries best celebrity impressionists.
With a Little Help From My Friends - Joe Cocker Tribute - (Set time: 1:30 PM)
With a Little Help From My Friends - Joe Cocker Tribute
With a Little Help From My Friends - Joe Cocker Tribute is derived from The A-List Band who during their shows perform many Joe Cocker songs.

It has been a staple to their live shows so that the audience reaction has been so well received that the band wanted
to extend the playlist. In doing so the band has put a set of Joe Cocker material together to capture the true sound of
Joe.

Lead singer Tom Gariano transforms himself to giving you the voice and moves of Joe Cocker. The six piece band
with horns and backing female vocals takes you back to The Mad Dog and English era. A must see show.
Mike McDonald + the Bayou Boys (CCR Tribute) - (Set time: 2:15 PM)
Mike McDonald + the Bayou Boys (CCR Tribute)
Veteran guitarist/singer Mike McDonald has been delighting audiences for over four decades. A consummate performer, Mike has shared stages around the world with an “endless” list of musical icons from B.B. King, Three Dog Night, James Cotton, and Steppenwolf to spending a week in Kandahar playing for the troops - one of his proudest moments.
He’s also a very talented audio engineer/producer, who ran Toronto’s venerable Grossman’s Tavern Sunday Night Jam for 13 years using his music smarts to mentor hundreds of musicians at Toronto’s legendary “Home of the Blues” including Canadian mega talents like Jeff Healey, Allanah Myles, Micheal Pickett and Tony Springer. Mike’s also produced albums “Grossman’s Live 1” and “Grossman’s Live 2” featuring Jeff Healey and Pat Rush (Johnny Winters, Muddy Waters, Dr. John).
In the spirit of Grossman’s live music jams, he currently hosts Kitchener’s bi-weekly showcase Mike’s Monster Jam featuring the who’s who of music in Waterloo Region and beyond. He’s also very adept at paying homage to the playlists of other bands and has been playing the role of John Fogerty in CCR Tribute Band, “Bayou Boys” for years and was the founding member of Green River.
