Jillian Cardarelli
Jillian Cardarelli
Twenty-four year old singer/songwriter Jillian Cardarelli has shared the stage with some of country music's biggest acts including Reba McEntire, Randy Houser, Trace Adkins, Dustin Lynch, Dierks Bentley, Easton Corbin, Scotty McCreery, Lee Brice, Parmalee, Willie Nelson, Alabama, James Otto, Dean Brody and Danielle Bradbery.
Over the past few years Jillian has been regularly singing the National Anthem for the Boston Bruins, the Boston Celtics, Boston Blades, Baltimore Orioles, and the Nashville Predators.
Along with performing her other passion is songwriting. Jillian just landed her first major label cut with Australian artist Jody Direen on ABC Music. Jody Direen released a song titled "Top Off" that Jillian penned with Christian Holmes and Ryan Sorestad on her debut album "Shake Up".
Cardarelli, a Massachusetts native, now Nashville resident grew up on the sweet sounds of country music. One may wonder how a girl from the suburbs of Boston would develop such a passion for country music. The answer is her grandfather. Cardarelli’s grandfather was stationed in Georgia during World War II where he fell in love with the heartfelt words and melodies of country music, and brought that love for country back home. At a young age Jillian fell in love with country music herself, from hearing George Strait, Elvis Presley, Merle Haggard and Patsy Cline playing from her grandfather’s living room stereo.
Jillian started singing in her church choir at the age of four, and it didn’t take her long to know she wanted to be on stage for the rest of her life. “On stage is where I feel the most comfortable and most at home.” says Cardarelli.
“My goal is to write and sing songs that touch people. Music is a universal language with which we can all connect, and that to me is a beautiful thing.” Jillian just released her latest single "Lipstick" this past June and is currently writing for a new EP which will be released in 2017.
